Iran Ferroalloys Industries Company on the belief that industries dependent on raw materials should develop more and more; was founded in 1986 and exploited in May 1995. Achieving this goal, along with applying manpower and activating domestic resources led to autarky in steel industries and casting of the gray cast iron parts in terms of Ferrosilicon consumption, hence dependence on external resources was completely cut off.

The main product Ferrosilicon (FeSi75) and its byproduct microsilica powder in addition to domestic sales to countries: Germany, Italy, Australia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Greece, Kenya, Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Taiwan, Tajikistan, the Netherlands, Great Britain , Spain, Portugal, Pakistan, Armenia, India, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and United Arabic Emirates are also exported.
