Iran Ferroalloys Industries Co

In 1986, the start-up of the plant was initiated and, using the Elkem technology in Norway, the first furnace of the plant with a capacity of 25 thousand tons of Ferrocylsium and 7 thousand tons of Microsilica was officially commissioned in 1993.
At first, Iran Ferroalloy Industries Complex belonged to the Bank of Industry and Mine, which was awarded to Mr. Ali Asghar Hajibaba by the auction in 2003. In 2004, the construction of two new furnaces with capacities of 20 thousand and 15 thousand tons Ferrocylsium was commissioned started and by the year 2008 was luanched. The factory's nominal capacity reached to 60 thousand tons of Ferrocylsium and 20 thousand tons of Microsilica.



1995

Ferroalloy company founded

Iran Ferroalloy Industries Co., on the belief that industries dependent on raw materials should develop more and more; was founded in 1986 and exploited in May 1995.

2008

Plant expansion project

The plant expansion project also aims to raise production capacity by constructing two units Frvsylysym the second half of 2004 has begun Electric arc furnace which was launched in February 2008.

Iran Ferroalloy industry elected as a superior exporter in the country in the years of 2006, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2018 as well as superior industrial units in the country in the years of 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 has been chosen.

Iran Ferroalloy Industries Co. has been selected as the country's superior exporter in 2018.


Since among the ferroalloys, Ferrosilicon has highest consumption in the industry, Iran Ferroalloy Industries Company with the aim of producing Ferrosilicon as a supplier of raw materials for steel and cast iron in 1986 was founded. The operational Phase started since the year 1989 and the official inauguration was in March 1993. The Factory plant, in an area of over 70 hectares, is located near AZNA one of the cities of Lorestan province.
