According to the Public Relations Department of Iranian Ferroalloy Industries Company (Public J. S.), the 22nd International Metallurgy Exhibition (Iran Metafo) was held from 20 to 23 November 2025 at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground, with the active participation of key players in the steel and ferroalloy industries.

The main focus of this years event centered on emerging technologies, green steel production, the energy crisis, and the expansion of domestic and international cooperation, all aimed at supporting national production and enhancing non-oil exports.

As the largest producer of ferrosilicon and microsilica in Iran and the Middle East, Iranian Ferroalloy Industries Company (Public J. S.) actively participated in the exhibition. The company hosted domestic and international customers, local sales representatives, and executives from leading steel companies and related organizations, while also engaging in business meetings with other industry stakeholders.

Recognized as one of the most significant and largest specialized gatherings in the steel value chain, the exhibition brought together more than 700 companies from various sectors, including steel and ferroalloys, mining and mineral processing equipment manufacturers, knowledge-based companies, non-ferrous metals, casting, pipe and profile production, mold making, machining, forging, refractories, industrial furnaces, and heat-treatment technologies.

During the opening ceremony, the Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade emphasized the strategic importance of the steel and raw materials sectors for Irans industrial development. He highlighted the capabilities of Iranian manufacturers in boosting non-oil exports and stated that domestically produced, technology-driven products supported by governmental initiatives can play a pivotal role in the countrys economic and industrial growth.

The steel and raw materials industries hold strategic and long-term significance at both national and international levels. With their strong contributions to job creation and foreign-exchange revenues, these sectors continue to play a vital role in Irans economic development and industrial progress.
