The International Steel Exhibition and Steel Symposium 1404 was held from October 27 to 29, 2025, at the Kish Island International Exhibition Center, bringing together leading experts, executives, and innovators to discuss the future of Iran’s steel industry under increasingly complex global and economic conditions.
The event served as a major industrial platform for knowledge exchange and strategic dialogue among steel producers, suppliers, researchers, and policymakers. Discussions focused on the latest global trends in metallurgy, including the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), energy optimization, and the development of green and sustainable steel production technologies.
Under the main theme “The Role of the Fourth and Fifth Industrial Revolutions and Artificial Intelligence in Green Steel Production” the symposium explored critical topics such as energy management, export development, raw material supply, and digital transformation across the steel value chain. The goal was to establish a roadmap for sustainable growth, enhance industrial competitiveness, and strengthen cooperation between industry, academia, and government institutions to secure Iran’s place in the global steel market.
The 2025 symposium featured the active participation of major players in Iran’s steel industry, including Mobarakeh Steel Group, Khuzestan Steel Company, Esfahan Steel Company, Iran Alloy Steel Company, National Iranian Steel Company, Arfa Iron & Steel Co., Kaveh South Kish Steel Co., Iranian Minerals Production & Supply Company (IMPASCO), Saba Persian Gulf Steel Company, Arian Hadid Industrial Group, and several other key stakeholders within the Steel 1404 roadmap.
Iran Ferroalloy Industries Co. (Public J.S.) recognized as the first producer and exporter of Ferrosilicon and Microsilica in Iran and the Middle East actively participated in the event. The company was represented by Mr. Reza Abedi Jouzam (CEO), Mr. Afshin Katouzian (Commercial Manager), and Mr. Navid Zojaji (Head of Domestic Sales).
The Iran Ferroalloy Industries Co. delegation attended technical sessions, visited industrial exhibits, and held strategic meetings with business partners from the steel sector to discuss collaboration opportunities and ongoing challenges in the steel and ferroalloy supply chains.
