According to the Public Relations Office of the Lorestan Provincial General Directorate of Standards, Mr. Rahnama, Director General of Standards of Lorestan Province, paid an unannounced field visit to Iran Ferroalloy Industries Company (Public J.S.) in Azna County, the largest ferrosilicon production facility in Iran.
During the visit, the Director General toured various production departments, process lines, and quality control laboratories, gaining first hand insight into the company’s manufacturing operations, laboratory activities, and quality assurance practices.
A joint meeting was also held with the company’s management team, technical experts, and quality control personnel, during which key topics related to standards compliance, product quality enhancement, and the development of quality control and quality assurance systems were reviewed. The meeting emphasized the implementation of effective measures aimed at achieving continuous process improvement and maintaining high quality production standards.
At the conclusion of the visit, following an assessment of the company’s documentation, workforce expertise, and operational performance, the Director General of Standards of Lorestan stressed the importance of expediting the completion and submission of the required documentation for the company’s nomination as an “Outstanding Manufacturing Unit” and for the nomination of its “Outstanding Quality Control Manager” at both provincial and national levels. He also announced the full support of the Provincial General Directorate of Standards throughout this process.
